Consumer Rights Act

If not followed correctly, consumers have the right to seek a court order and bring civil and criminal action under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If the trader does not comply with a court order it can lead to a penalty of an unlimited fine and 2 years imprisonment.

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 outlines a single set of rights for consumers when they buy goods, digital content or services, and clarifies the current legal framework. It is imperative that you and your staff know exactly what rights consumers have in order to avoid misleading or misselling which could lead to huge consequences for your business.

The aim of this course is to greater increase your knowledge of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, as well as the relevant legislation.
