The Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace is aimed at employees and it enables them to work safely and recognise and deal with hazards in the workplace. It also provides learners with knowledge of the basic health and safety practices essential in the workplace.

How will I be assessed?

This qualification is assessed by completion of a multiple-choice examination, the learner must answer 20 correct questions out of 30 to pass. This qualification is registered on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) at Level 2 and holds a credit value of 1.
