What is it all about?

The Level 2 Award in Working with Gambling Legislation will help candidates to understand their legal and social responsibilities in relation to the Gambling Act 2005. This qualification covers areas such as: How to minimise crime in a gambling environment, protecting vulnerable and young people in a gambling environment and how to support a fair and open gambling environment.

This award is aimed at anyone who works in a customer facing role within the gambling industry, in premises such as casinos, bingo halls and bookmakers. It is suitable for managers and supervisors of licensed premises where small stake gambling takes place.

How will I be assessed?

The Level 2 Award in Working with Gambling Legislation is assessed via a multiple-choice examination that is conducted at the end of the course. The Level 2 Award in Working with Gambling Legislation is registered on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) at Level 2 and holds a credit value of 1.
